Our Team

Erin Ray, Library Director

Erin joined the library as its director shortly after moving to Fort Davis in 2022.  She finds joy and inspiration in working closely with a caring staff and volunteers, reading stories to children, helping patrons solve problems, and developing programs, services, and events that meet the community's needs and interests.  When she is not at the library, you might find Erin teaching yoga or Pilates, reading or hiking at the State Park, CDRI, or the Davis Mountains Preserve.  Erin grew up in Victoria, Texas.

Linda Baez, Library Assistant

Linda is originally from Chepachet, Rhode Island.  She moved to Fort Davis in 2022.  She enjoys giving back to the community in her work at the library.  Among her many contributions, Linda is an indispensable aid to the Story Time program.  When she's not at the library, she can be found cuddling her fur babies, hiking, or reading.

Toni Case, Library Assistant 

Toni is originally from Vancouver, British Colombia, and has lived in Fort Davis since 2011.  Toni's favorite spot in the library is the circulation desk where she enjoys helping patrons and sending them off with a smile.  When she is not at the library, you can find her at home with her family, knitting, painting, or gardening.  Toni shares her love of painting with library patrons by facilitating the library's watercolor club.

Barb Scarborough, Library Assistant

Originally from Spearhead, South Dakota, Barb has lived in Fort Davis since 2011.  She is a steady presence at the library, assisting patrons with many inquiries and requests.  Among her many talents and skills, she is our go-to person for Inter-Library Loan requests.  When she is not at the library, she is either at home working in her yard or out riding her Harley.

Sandra Garza, Custodian

Without a doubt, the most important member of the library staff, Sandra keeps the library clean and well-maintained.  The library would not be the enjoyable space it is without Sandra.
